Workers’ Councils as the spiritual heir of the 1956 revolutionary Workers’ Councils is protesting against the unacceptable behaviour of the Hungarian Szolidaritás movement. The organisers of the demonstration of Szolidaritás in as scene deliberately reminiscent of famous event when the 1956 Freedom Fighters cut down the statue Stalin, toppled a polystyrene statue of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, stabbing the statue and kicking the decapitated head through the streets. With this act they made mockery of the painful memory of the Communist terror and dictatorship following the 1956 revolution.
